Can you tell when someone really feel hurt

Some people rationalize their painful speech by saying, "the person won't mind if I insult them." But the truth is that hardly anyone is immune to feeling pain from words. People are sensitive in different areas and each person has their sore spots that can cause them suffering.

Even if someone seems to be oblivious to insults, you may never tell when they really feel hurt or angry. There are people who experience great agony when they are insulted but are either too shy to express this or have a strong sense of pride and do not want others to realize how vulnerable they really area. Realize that a large percentage of people conceal their true feelings and might really be suffering when you insult them or belittle something they consider precious even though they do not reveal this to others.
